PLEASE NOTE:
Dog Hosting is only available for small and some medium dogs as I have to be mindful of my dog's small dog syndrome and the safety and wellbeing of other small dogs that I may have in my care. Dog walking and Home visiting can be for any sized dogs as well as cats and are 30min unless you select a walk as an add on (at 50% off) then they are an hour. The madpaws platform doesn’t allow me to specify which dogs I can take for which services so my apologies to owners of larger dogs or cats if I come up in your search for hosting.

ABOUT ME

My dog 'Ralphie' was my first child so I understand how much you love yours. I went travelling around Australia with a caravan for my honeymoon just so I could take Ralphie with me. When I got back, I joined Life Be In It's 'Holidaying with Dogs' and turned my rental into Pet Friendly Short-stay accommodation (William Cottage) to give people more accommodation options and therefore more opportunities to travel with their pets. That was back in 2007. I no longer have the cottage but I'm offering my home instead for those doggies who can't accompany their owners when they go away. Their time with me becomes their holiday and I'm at home most of the time so able to shower them with attention and love.

I recently adopted my Jack Chi Jimmy after he herniated a disc in his spine and his owner, who worked full time, wasn't able to care for him while he was in recovery because he was in a cage for 8 weeks and only came out briefly for a walk on a short lead a few times a day. When he recovered, the owner realised he was a lot happier with me and he was "finally getting to be a real dog" as I have a lot of space in my backyard (where he buried his first ever bone) and a lot more time to spend with him. I was then asked if I wanted to adopt him and I politely accepted.

I still have a lot of love to give though and a big backyard thats fully enclosed with plenty to explore. Pets are allowed inside and can come and go as they please through the small doggy door.

The health and safety of your pet is my priority. I live on a quiet cul-de-sac street with little traffic and the Belmont Vet is only 2 minutes away in case of emergencies. There are number of decent pet exercise parks within walking distance of my home. My two children are older and great with animals too.

Rest assured, you fur baby will leave here happy and healthy.

DROP-OFF/PICK-UP
The drop-off and pick-up rate is $30 by default. This can be ammended and even waived at my discretion after you submit an enquiry so please ask if you live in or around Belmont. I also drive to Greenmount and Midland every day and can pick up and drop off along the way.

LONGER STAYS (7+ NIGHTS) - Free
SHORTER STAYS - $20
I don't offer grooming services but I do bathe pooches that stay for a week or more. If you want your doggy washed and brushed during a shorter stay, I can do it for $20 extra (just mention it in your message and I will add it to the booking before you make payment)

VIDEOS $30
I make complimentary videos when time permits. If you would specifically like a keepsake video of your dogs holiday, please request it in your message and I’ll add the charge to your invoice. Videos are 1-3 minutes long and are choreographed to music. Once made they are posted on instagram and facebook and available for download or I can send you a download link.
