About Julie

Pet pampering is my thing, so after having my own dog, I decided to start looking after people's pets while they were at work, in hospital or taking that well-earned vacation. I have been caring for people's pets since 2016 while travelling around Australia. Some of the animals I have cared for include dogs, cats, birds and cattle on a farm in QLD.

I have always loved animals since I was a child and now have the time and flexibility to help people with looking after their beloved fur babies.

Since returning to WA, I have helped many families with their pet sitting needs so I now have lots of experience. In 2022, I looked after the family Spoodle 'Jed' for four months and have had looked after him many times since. He certainly has weaved his way into our lives and we love him like he's our own.

To enable me to care for animals more effectively and for my own interest, I completed a course in Animal Care and Handling. My work placement was at the Alice Springs Animal Shelter which was an amazing experience.

All animals shown in my photo gallery have been cared for by myself over the last few years. More recently, I have taken care of two sweet Maltese x Shih Tzu dogs. One was 14 years old. He had diabetes, so required subcutaneous insulin injections twice a day. He was also blind so when out on walks, extra care was needed to ensure he didn't hurt himself. ...
