About Alexandra
Hi there! I absolutely adore looking after and hanging out with all dogs. It makes me so happy to see their beautiful smiles when they're running around the dog park or playing fetch or just to cuddle up with them throughout the day.
I have been dog and house-sitting casually for the past 2 years independently just through people I have met in local cafes and stores, and am now looking to expand my customer base. My genuine love of all dogs means you'll always know your pooch will be well looked after. I am used to dogs having special routines and care requirements, so you can trust that these will remain consistently enforced.
Most of my experience is in sitting at the owner's house, as I live in a small apartment, but I am open to hosting small dogs occasionally. I have sat for the following breeds; miniature poodles, pug, golden retriever, cattle dog and cocker spaniel. I take your dogs to the local dog park or for a minimum half hour walk everyday. I also have a basic understanding of positive reinforcement dog training.
A little about me, I work about 10 hours per week in person, and I study part-time online. I am a fairly active person, enjoying running, bike riding and yoga. I love going on local nature and bushwalks and cooking yummy food. I am a bit of a home body, but will occasionally go out to see a comedy show or to see a friend. But you can rest assured that I will be home with your pooch for the most part.
