About Ella
Hello~ I am new to Brisbane after growing up in NZ to continue my undergraduate degree at the University of Queensland.
My life has always closely involved animals. I have grown up with two family cats, volunteered at the SPCA for a few years and taken on dog walking in my neighbourhood for a number of years. But between 2012 to 2020, I started an independent pet-sitting service within my local community to look after animals of all sizes while owners went on Holiday. I was trusted not only with someone's beloved pet but house keys and upholding the quality of people's private property. This work ranged from looking after cats (mostly), birds, a rabbit and some dogs from the years I was in service.
Now, I hope to continue this work with MadPaws! I am comfortable with all sizes of dog, from Chihuahua's to Staffy's. Respecting each animal's personality and unique needs is a big value of mine in this work. I intend to maintain an adaptive work-study lifestyle in Brisbane that allows for freedom to accommodate others schedule and commitments.
