About Megan
Growing up caring for pets since early childhood, I’ve always found I have a natural calm around other people's pets, as much as my own! I’ve grown up around dogs, cats, guinea pigs, chickens and horses, so a real vary!

Currently, I don’t have any pets of my own and have the luxury of time that I would love to fill with caring for yours! I work full time - a usual 9-5 Monday to Friday role. I’m an early bird so have plenty of time in the mornings and evenings to care for them. I’m active, love walking, hiking and going to the gym. And also love some quiet time, reading a book or painting.

I am happy to do a meet and greet at a time to suit you so that you feel more comfortable with me looking after your pet. I will try to replicate your pets current routine with attention, walks and feed times as much as possible. I’m flexible with bookings and can take last-minute jobs too. As I am living in an apartment, I am only offering overnight pet-sitting services within my own home for cats.

I always had medium-large breed dogs throughout my life growing up and our family dog is a Labrador x Kelpie who suffers from anxiety, hip dysplasia, and arthritis. So I understand the unique and individual needs of our furry family members!

Cats came later in life when I was a teenager, and I found a strong love for them. My first cat, Mr Darcy, was another adoption who we, unfortunately, lost due to age last year. The meow who taught me just how much I love cats! My family and I have fostered cats and kittens and adopted two others.

Working in real estate, I’m often in homes with pets without their owners. I’ve found that I have a natural instinct for pets that makes them feel calm in their homes. I allow them the space and patience to feel comfortable with me at their own pace and understand that often pets suffer from anxiety being away from their owners. I often receive comments from clients that they are shocked that their pet who doesn’t tend to like strangers or can often be aggressive and wary of people seems to be seeking affection from me and are at ease. A regular compliment that always makes me happy!

Amazing host and thanks a lot for taking care of Neo as her own. This was our first time letting Neo stay with a carer and it turned out to be a wonderful experience, Megan took a really good care of Neo. Would highly recommend.

Megan is so nice and really cares about the pets she looks after! My very nervous cat warmed up to her very quickly with her patience and kindness. She’s sweet, professional and communicative!
