I had a small dog for 17 years (as well as 12 other pets ranging from birds to a chameleon) and it’s lonely here in Townsville without any animals around! I went through it all with her; accidents on the carpet, medications, sick in bed days, running around the house on her random energy bursts, couch cuddles while studying. Not much I wouldn’t do for her or any dog (or any animal for that matter)!

I was a doggy caregiver in Canada at AARCS (Alberta Animal Rescue Crew Society) for almost 2 years. That involved walking, feeding and playing with the dogs as well as cleaning their runs and doing their bedding laundry and washing their food dishes. I also worked at the Calgary Humane Society as an animal care attendant with mostly dogs and cats, but also with rabbits and exotics (such as bearded dragons). I delt with animals of varying temperaments and sizes, and also administered basic medications to dogs and cats.

I also spent the last 3 years working at a marine centre as an animal care attendant with aquatics - fish and invertebrates of various species - where I was the primary husbandry provider.

Back in Canada, I was a pet sitter and dog walker for similar website/app for 2 years, so I am ready to get back into it! As you can tell, I have LOTS of experience and I would love to be your pet sitter for any animal, anytime. :)...
