I've been an owner and lover of animals. I've had everything from a papillion x to a Great Dane, and many in between. I've had cats and even horses and have a degree in Equine Science~ Production and Breeding Management. I look after my neighbour's dog when they are away on holiday. I currently have 2 chickens, Sunnyside and Overeasy, both of which are egg layers.

I was a pet stylist for many years, so have extensive training and knowledge in this area. I can groom small and well behaved dogs prior to your return home. If your home can accommodate, I can groom larger sized dogs, as per my photos, but most homes, including mine, do not have the required equipment and products to provide this service for the larger dogs. I also do not groom cats, I have in the past, but not something I'm willing to do anymore. It's imprtant to be mindful that grooming for animals is not as straight forward and basic as it is for humans. I pride myself in my knowledge and skills. Because of the work involved in grooming, this is a service I do not really discount even with multiple dogs, as they still require the same amount of time, skill, and product. The discount is more applicable to frequency of grooms. Please note that my base price is based on a full groom on a dog with hair requiring clipping. Demoults are priced per breed, size, and coat condition, ie Pug vs Pomeranian.

Please note that overnight bookings are only for overnight, up to 9 hours. They do not include day sitting, so when making a booking request, please include the day sitting fee when required.

Although I have extensive experience with horses, horse husbandry, and breeding, I have no idea where the certificate is, as it was back in 2000. I have also done an online course in animal husbandry back in Canada, but once again, I have no idea where my Certificate is.
