My husband and i are dog lovers. We have both had dogs growing up and we just lost our 14 year old staffy.
My husband was a greyhound trainer for years and grew up with a miniature poodle. In my family we have had a lab/springer spaniel mix, 2 dobermans, a corgi, and a rottweiler.
We have never formally dog sat but we have watched dogs for friends and family (cattle dog, golden retriever, labrador and airedale), when the owners have travelled.
Animals are very much a part of the family and have the run of the house. We have a large 4 bedroom house with a fully fenced yard and a large screened room. Photos available on request.
My hubby and i are retired so we've got all the time in the world to be home with your furbaby.
We are pretty active people so happy to make sure your pup gets whatever level of exercise he/she needs.
With the loss of our 14 year old boy ralphie our house feels very empty but we are unsure if we want another dog permanently as we like to travel.
Watching (spoiling) your dog will give us the dog "fix" we need while still being able to travel when we want to....
