About Melissa

Hello! My name is Mel and I’m a responsible and loving pet owner with over 18 years+ experience in caring for dogs (and cats).

My babies before ‘human’ babies were Chevvy, Lab and Layla, Great Dane x Masstiff (14 & 15 yrs). When they passed, I honestly didn’t think I could have any more pets as my heart was broken… but then we rescued our gentle cats and more recently, Bear, our amazing staffy who offers so much joy and companionship. I’ve also been fortunate to look after my friends and extended families pooches over the years.

Having just moved to Queensland and needing to find a pet sitter for my own pets recently has led me on this journey to wanting to open up my home and be of service to others.

Id love to invite your furry family member to come and stay, play and feel welcome.

My beautiful Bear couldn’t be happier having a friend over! My cats will not be impressed but they’ll understand!

Pooches who are jumpers may escape my yard due to a smaller barrier fence spaced before a large non-reliable fence, but otherwise it is a secure yard with plenty of space and locked gates - please see photos.

Working from home allows me to interact and be present with your pet throughout the day.

Blessed with lots of beautiful nature tracks surrounding us, there is plenty of opportunity to enjoy a daily enjoy walk too.

If your pet gets along well with dogs and cats, loves hugs and will fit right in, then our home is the purfect hotel for you :-)
