I love spending time with pets! I like getting to know their personalities, their likes and dislikes, and how they want to play.
I’ve recently helped raise a neighbour’s whippet, so I know the pros and cons of all the local parks and where it’s potentially safe for different dogs to run off-lead and where it’s not advisable.
Caring for this whippet and another friend’s tiny, fearful papillon has taught me how to pay close attention to dog behaviour and the broader environment when out walking, to ensure the pet in my care is having a safe and enjoyable experience. I will pay close attention to what your pet is doing - I take the responsibility of caring for pets very seriously.
I prefer to walk just one dog at a time to give them my undivided attention. Walks always include physical exercise, enrichment (via plenty of sniff stops) and socialisation with people, other dogs (where appropriate) and novel activities (like visiting cafes).
I also like to have a lot of fun when caring for pets. I love playing, creating snack-based enrichment activities, and getting cosy and cuddly. I look forward to getting to know your pet 🐶🐈⬛🐰...
