About Alexandra

I'm a loving, positive and calm young female that recently moved to Melbourne for a great job opportunity. Unfortunately, my boyfriend and mini dachshund Benji couldn't join me so we're managing long distance and I miss them every day!

I work from home most days and keep active - I live in a 2 bedroom apartment with a balcony, right on the Maribyrnong river in Footscray and often go for walks/runs along the water (and can't help but think "Benji would love this walk" every time I do!). Footscray park is a 10 min walk away, although I also love to explore and I'm happy to travel to different parks.

I have a small SUV and Aussie driver's license.

I have experience in training, and have taught both pups and dogs to sit, stay, paw, lie down, roll over and spin around. I'm patient and loving, and believe in positive reinforcement as opposed to punishing. The latter can often lead to anxiety and fear in dogs, and whilst we are their "masters" I much prefer to see myself as their best friend!

I'm happy to walk, train, bathe and sleep with pups, and would treat any dog with all the love and encouragement as I would my own :)

All the household and cleaning products in my home are organic and natural based, so rest assured there’ll be no harmful chemicals around your pet(s)!...
