About Leah and Josh

Hi there!

We are a 'pooch-loving' married couple living in Frankston South. We live on a large block with a whopping 800m2 (approx) fenced backyard with no children to make use of it.
Having both grown up surrounded by dogs, we of course, as adults, had our own dogs from pups when we met whom we cared for through their elder years together until they each passed; a beautiful Kelpie Cross Border Collie and a Golden Lab Cross Retriever.
We find ourselves wanting to take care of dogs for owners rather than have our own because we, like all of you we're sure, find it so difficult to leave them when the weekend getaway comes up or a more extended holiday, but we adore the gorgeous creatures so much that we miss having dogs around our house.
We would be thrilled to shower your pooch/es with love, adhere to strict feeding schedules, give them a couple of walks every day, carefully provide any needed medication or attention like daily brushing, have them sleep inside and on the couch of an evening, if you allow. We will follow all instructions to keep your dog/s in the best comfort and company, whilst maintaining the closest routine they have at home.
We have a doggie-door for up to a medium sized dog so most pooches can access indoor/outdoor spaces at their leisure. We know they will need to feel safe with a pack when their own pack is away so giving them as much company as possible is definitely understood to be of high importance. We only take one booking at a time so no need to worry about your dog/s sharing the yard or house with unfamiliar canines either.
We have a beautiful nature park within 1km from our house and quite wide streets with peadestrian pavements to enjoy on a walk. We welcome meeting your dog/s first and showing them around the place to allow their noses to get familiar with their holiday location.
We do work full-time in teaching at public schools which would mean that we are out of the house from approx 8am until 4pm weekdays, unless it is at the time of public school holidays, in which case we would be with your dog/s full time.
