About Elise

Hi there! My name is Elise and I am a stay-at-home mum with a love of animals providing dog-walking and dog-minding services.

I have a 1 year old furry best friend Frankie the Cavoodle, who is fantastic with other dogs and loves to socialise with other furry-friends. We go on walks together every day including to the dog park across the road and the beach on occasion. He is a ball of energy that loves to say hello to every dog he spots in the neighbourhood. My two young boys (3 and 5) absolutely love Frankie and are so gentle with him and other dogs.

What Environment Do I Provide?

We have a big grassed fully-fenced yard with doggy-door access to inside the house. We have a pool that is securely fenced off and locked with a glass pool fence. Our home is single level with laminate floors which is fantastic for any messiness that comes along with housing furry-friends. In addition to this I provide all pets with:
- Treats
- Simple training with positive reinforcement
- Games and toys playtime in the yard

What Services Do I Offer?

- Dog walking services every: Tues & Wed 9am - 2pm
- Dog minding/sitting (small to medium dog breeds with a friendly nature): Mon-Sun 24/7 - based on calendar availability
- I will accept services to some small animals such as rodents, rabbits, chickens or birds with adequate instruction provided on care.

Tell Me More About Frankie:

Our dog Frankie is fully vaccinated and neutered and will receive his annual booster due in Feb 2023. He has a lovely friendly and playful temperament and will thoroughly enjoy the company of most small to medium dogs. He sleeps on his own bed outside our bedroom door, occasionally making his way onto our bed. He was initially crate-trained as a puppy so we are well-versed in crate-training and can accommodate this if this is how your dog sleeps or other sleeping arrangements as required.

Making a Booking:

- Dog-minding: I will take 1 to 2 dogs from a single owner at the same time. I will not take dogs from multiple owners on the same night at this stage.
- Dog-walking: I will take between 2 to 4 dogs at once however I try to keep this to 2-3 to ensure the dogs get ample attention, love and care.
- Your dog should go well with other dogs. If possible, we prefer other dogs to meet Frankie before confirming a dog-minding booking. If Frankie gets along with your dog, then we are happy to book you in :)

The Details:

Dog-Walking:
- I provide dog-walking within a 5km radius of Green Point NSW 2251
- Each 30 minute session includes ensuring water is refreshed, feed if required, cleaning up waste if needed, play time, and a neighbourhood walk, ensuring plenty of time for sniffing and exploring and exercising
- I drive to your home and visit your dog in your home, then take her/him for a neighbourhood walk, alternatively I can take your dog for a drive to the beach or a nearby park, depending on your preference
- Considerations for extreme weather conditions are taken into account and sessions can be adapted to at-home play, or extended to longer sessions depending on your pet's needs

Dog-minding:
- Pick up/drop off at our home (or pick-up at your place for an extra fee)
- Please provide dog food/bed/toys
- I will discuss with you your dog's normal sleeping/eating/playing/walking routine and try to accommodate this as best as possible to provide your dog with a comfortable home-like stay
- Your dog will enjoy lots of cuddles and you will receive photo and video updates throughout their stay

*Important: I only accept dogs that are up-to-date with their vaccinations.

Previous Experience:

I have grown up around animals including dogs since I was a young girl and have had dogs since I was 17 (15 years ago) and have experience walking and minding dogs for family and friends. I have had all sorts of animals as pets including dogs, cats, hermit crabs and mice. I absolutely love animals and have an affinity with dogs in particular.
