My partner and I have been on MadPaws since 2021 when we were both full-time postgraduate students earning some extra cash dog-walking/sitting between our clinical placements. My partner and I took a break in mid-2022 as we had to adjust to working full-time, and could not dedicate the same time/effort we previously could as full-time university students. We're back on now as we miss the fun and joy of meeting/making new dog buddies, so we are extending our home to you during weekends and public holidays :)

We have experience taking care of puppies (under 12 weeks), small-medium dogs and senior dogs (> 10 years). I have also been around German Shepherds my entire life and currently own a 2-year-old Groodle - so I have experience dealing with smart, energetic dogs who need daily stimulation!

If we are headed out for an adventure, we'll always bring them along - whether it’s out at the beach, in the shops or just for a drive to the local park. Rest assured, your pup will not be left alone (if they are, we will inform you and let you know why and for how long!)

PET HOSTING / DAYCARE:

Requirements: fully vaccinated + good with other dogs as we have our resident doggo, Sasha, in the house! She's 2 years old, medium-sized, and fantastic at sharing and playing with other dogs. She might be a little excitable at the start but is quick to listen when corrected (by humans or fellow canines).

Your pup will have access to a large, secure courtyard and all areas indoors. They will also sleep indoors with heating/cooling (if needed).

We aim to deliver the best possible experience for your pup during their stay here. Your pup will be treated to a minimum of one walk a day to enjoy the fresh air and stretch out their legs. If your pup needs more, we're always happy to take them out again! They will be well-fed, played with and given lots of cuddles! Always happy to take them to the nearby park. We have a dog hammock in our car so your pup will be safe and comfortable during the ride there!

Daily updates via pictures (and videos if requested) will be provided as well to put your mind at ease!

PRICE:

There is a surcharge during public holidays, school breaks and peak periods - so please be mindful when booking. Unfortunately, at this point, we can only offer weekend and public holiday bookings as it will be unfair to leave your dog in a strange home when there's no human around to reassure them.
