About Sarah & Ashank
Welcome to our pet sitting service! We're Ashank and Sarah, a couple passionate about creating a loving environment for your furry family. A bit about us; Sarah grew up in the Adelaide Hills and has spent significant time in Europe and India. Ashank is from Mumbai and has spent 5 years in the UK. We met in India in 2016. We've lived in Delhi, Goa and Bangalore up until March 2022 when we moved to Adelaide.
We both love cats and dogs. Sarah grew up surrounded by pets. Ashank’s always had a fascination for dog behaviour even though he’s never had a pet dog. Together we used to volunteer at an animal centre in Goa on a weekly basis. Tasks included helping with food rounds and giving every single rescue dog at least two cuddles and the cats scritches.
We fostered 10 kittens and 2 pups during our time in Bangalore, finding them loving homes. (Happy to share pictures of all - some can already be seen on our profile)
With dreams of having our own pet in the future, pet sitting is our way of immersing ourselves back in the joy of caring for animals. Sarah, currently setting up her business, works from home full time, ensuring constant attention and care. Ashank, working with Domain, enjoys the flexibility to work from home 2-3 days a week.
Our pet-friendly apartment in Hindmarsh provides a cozy space for your pets. Nestled in a two-bedroom apartment with a balcony, it's an ideal setting for cats or small dogs. We're conveniently located near a bike/running path for delightful walks, overseen by Ashank, and Bowden offers a nearby park for playtime – whether it's a game of catch or socializing with other dogs.
