About Kate

Hello! My name is Kate, I am a kind and compassionate mental health worker, 32 years old. I have recently moved to Hobart from Melbourne to finish my final year of my psychology degree. As a student, pet cuddles while studying is the most ideal situation! I am available to do pet sitting stays, and love spending time with pets - either keeping each other company or heading out for walks in the beautiful Tassie nature that I'm loving exploring!

I am the unofficial pet sitter of all of my friend's dogs when they go on holidays and have looked after all shapes and sizes! From Hunter the human/golden retriever, to Rhubarb - the snuggly sheepadoodle, to Babycino - the pocket rocket dachshund. I grew up with the most loving Finnish Lappund named Zach (who I will forever miss!) and have recently lived with/taken care of a cheeky and gorgeous cat named Bobby and Biggie the beautiful Beagle (see photos!)

I also have many years of experience with in-home childcare. I worked as a babysitter from around 17 years old, and then as a nanny, including to a family of 2 children for 6+ years.

I adore all animals, and love spending time with them playing, going for walks and lots of cuddles! I would look after your pets with so much love and care, aware of what an honour it is to be trusted with the responsibility of your furry loves...
