About Sabrina
Hello! I'm Sabrina and I live in Hurlstone Park with my husband, Chris, our 4.5 y.o Boston Terrier, Barkley, and our Robo Vacuum, Pepito.
Our household is anything from loud and energetic to sleepy and calm. It's no secret that we are dog/animal obsessed. Chris works a 9-5 and I work from home full time. I'll be doing the majority of the sitting, feeding etc and will generally be home full time with your pooch, however I will leave the house from time to time for up to 2 hours. Usually, dogs will be within my sight all day. Barkley is a curious guy so by default our house is almost puppy proofed, we don't leave anything out unless it's safe for a dog to chew on or eat. We have a doggy door fit for a medium sized dog, and it's kept unlocked (can be locked) so Barkley can come in and out as he chooses. Our backyard is a decent size, with lots of trees and dirt and grass, good for running around in. It is fully fenced/gated. We live in a three bedroom free standing home and have enough doors to seal each room of the house off if we need to. Barkley is crate trained and we have ample room to store your pup's crate if need be. We aren't opposed to having your pup sleep in our room/bed, Barkley's just very annoying to sleep with (in and out of the covers etc). We live along the cooks river and Barkley gets one 30 min walk a day, and would be happy with another, so absolutely fine to take multiple walks if need be. We live nearby an off leash dog park so that is an option too. Sometimes we also take Barkley up to the cafe and grab a coffee, so if your pooch is comfortable sitting at a cafe we might just do that.
A note about Barkley: he is always excited meeting new dogs, he may get zoomies when first meeting them and have a total energy burst. It takes him about 15 minutes to read a dog and determine their temperament and how he should behave around them and interact with them. 🥹
