I am a Children’s ICU nurse, that possibly should have been a veterinary nurse!
I have always lived with, and been raised, with big & small dogs around me. I sadly don’t have my own as I think it’s too tricky with my 12 hour shifts & nights etc., but you wouldn’t think it if you saw my last car with bowls/water/coats/treats/towels always on standby for a visiter & an outing. For the last 3 years living in Ireland with my parents, I joined a similar website. It was the best time, minding all these different doggos! Every day we would go off on adventures, up the Mts for a big hike, or to the coast for a scenic walk, or to the lakes for a wee splash, whatever the fluffy fancied! I work full time, but thankfully still managed to hike or walk 150-200kms each month for my sanity (not sure my knees are thanking me though ha!). Some doggos just loved to potter around the house with us after a little local waddle & snuggle up in the evenings & those days were such a welcome treat too :)
I truely miss their company now that I’ve moved back to QLD. I’m hoping I get to make some VIP 4 legged friends & get my fluffy crew back real soon. Im happy to do short or long walks, the path, beach or the hills. As long as you’re looking for someone (non smoking) to thoroughly love your doggo like their own, respect the training techniques you’ve put in, and ensure your 4 legged’s tail wagging, then I’m your gal☺️
