I am an avid animal lover. I've grown up with dogs and cats so very much adore all their silly traits.
I work from home often and my partner works completely remotely which works perfectly for our rescue George. George is a chonky boy that loves to just nap as close as productively possible to his favourite humans. When introduced to new dogs, he always cautiously watches by the kitchen bench or atop his tower (fridge). We’ve dog sat for friends and family before, and George will happily entertain from a distance when canine friends are over. When we adopted him, he was sharing a room with over a dozen other rescue cats so he’s used to other animals coming and going really well (unless you’re a moth or fly, he loves a nice protein snack!).
Our apartment is right beside the Maribyrnong River and in front of a large park that locals flock to every morning and evenings as soon as they clock off. If your fur baby is a little shy in social settings, the river walk is exceptionally peaceful and calming for those who don’t prefer puppy parties. Being at the doorstep of a park and river, your pup will be spoiled for walks and the best scenic toilet breaks.
As for a cat friend, George is the perfect gentlemen to welcome any shy or timid feline family members....
