About Samantha

My name is Sam, I am a fully qualified veterinary nurse with 5 years of experience working in the veterinary industry. I currently walk dogs for a living as nothing is more rewarding than being the best part of their day. With my experience in pet care and extensive knowledge of health conditions, first aid and animal behaviour, I am a very safe and caring sitter for your fur babies.

I am able to administer all types of medication safely including tablets, topical, eye ointments, ear medication, transmucosal and subcutaneous injections. I am experienced in looking after elderly pets, pets with mobility or health issues.

Whilst walking dogs most days, I have learnt the ins and outs of the local parks around south east Melbourne and would love to take your dog with me on some fun and safe adventures! Some of my favourite parks to visit include:

I couldn’t speak highly enough of Sam after she looked after my cat Pretzel whilst I was interstate for several weeks. It was the longest I have been apart from him and he couldn’t have been left in better hands. Pretzel has been diagnosed with Feline Heart Disease and requires 5 medications daily at specific times which can be a lot for anyone. Not only did Sam take care of him like he was her own but she regularly updated me with photos and let me know how he was going which was a huge relief and comfort for me. It was very clear that Pretzel was happy, healthy and stress free whilst Sam took care of him and for that I couldn’t thank her enough.
