About Jessi
Hi, I'm Jessi - an older lady who has been caretaking companion pets for over thirty years.
In the past I have owned my own felines (rescued and spoiled), dogs, poultry (chickens & ducks) and at one stage even had a BlueTongue lizard named Ayell (A L for Australian Lizard, get it?? )
I have been fostering rescue felines for five years and my friends frequently call on me for greyhound Charlie when vacation time rolls around.
Currently studying (Veterinary) Animal Studies Certifciations (2 and enrolled for Cert 3 in 2024/2025). Because I will have dedicated contact days, I limit my sitting/hosting days to Saturday night through to Tuesday afternoon. On those days, I will be constant companionship for your kids while I study from home. (and the fosters will learn to live with another pet improving their chances of adoption)
I recognise pawrents will want to know their furkid is in safe hands, and I am happy to communicate frequently your pet's adventures while they are in care. I have a valid Police clearance, Working with Children (albeit - bipedal but your kids are important, right?) and I believe in transparency between you and me.

Jessi has looked after both of my greyhounds (an elderly lady, and a sprightly young man) at different times while I have been away over the past few years. They come back healthy and happy and are ALWAYS glad to see her again. She's excellent with the treats, and has cared for them just as I would.
