About Laura

I am an animal lover of all shapes and sizes little and large, I am from Belfast Northern Ireland in my past 4 and half years in Australia I’ve been looking after horses, cats and dogs at the various stables and yards I have worked at.
At my house in Kingsford my flatmate and I have two dogs Champ and Pip who are very dog friendly and love to play.

I have a fun energetic nature that keeps the dogs entertained.
I will care for your furry friend like it is my own, I have basic training skills for puppies to help with behaviour issues. Training to walk properly and basic commands if needed.

I live close to astrolab dog park for a good stretch of the pets legs and have a car if any requests to take to a penned dog park or beach.

I would love the opportunity to help any owner out with looking after their cats or dogs.

I haven’t don’t mad paws in a couple years as been busy but keen to getting back into pet sitting

I have an anxious pom/cavalier with pretty bad separation anxiety when away from me, even when left in the care of another. I found Laura after being recommended her by a friend, she has a warm and kind disposition, which my dog Eevee immediately warmed to. Laura was confident and kind with her, Eevee responded well in our initial meeting so I then felt at ease to utilise her services ongoing over the last year. Each time I have left my Eevee with her has been as good as the last, I never had any worries. She was responsible, took her for lovely walks, interacted with her and Eevee always had a great time with Laura. I would recommend her to anyone in need of a reliable, friendly and responsible dog sitter! We are really sad to lose her as she is leaving our town and moving to Melbourne, she will be missed by our Family but will be an asset to yours. Thank you so much and good luck Laura! …

I've known Laura for about 18 months now and in that time on numerous occasions I've had to go away over weekends for work due to a new job, because of this I was in need of a dog sitter for my 10 year old English Staffy, Navi. Not wanting to put him in a kennel over those times, I expressed this to Laura and she eagerly offered to watch him over the weekends while I was away. On the first occasion I told Laura he's an old boy but has the energy of a puppy still and is very needy, this didn't bother her and when they first met Navi's energy was matched by Laura's enthusiasm and kindness towards him! From then on she has watched him many times always keeping me informed on how he's going and making sure he's happy with plenty of love and time spent with him I highly reccomend Laura for her obvious love for animals and natural ability with them all. Very reliable, kind and willing to take on a challenge with Navi! It's a shame she's moved from Ballarat but anyone should feel comfortable having their dogs watched and looked after by her. Laura has looked after my Jack Russell x Fox Terrier puppy, Pip, numerous times over the past few months of me having her. She always keeps me up to date with photos or video and Pip absolutely adores her! She is prompt to reply, experienced and reliable and she puts in the upmost care at all times. It's such a relief to know that i can leave Pip in such caring and capable hands if i have to work away from the office for the day. I would highly recommend her to anyone who asked…

Laura has been such a star in helping us manage our old pup Hector. We have been incredibly busy with work over the last year and as Hectors health has been declining in his old age, Laura has helped with walks, feeds, company and bringing him to the vets when we have both been away.
