Hi, my name is Leila and I am a huge animal nerd!

A bit about myself: I am currently studying a nationally recognized dog behaviour and training course that focuses on force-free and positive reinforcement training.

I have professional handling and care-taking experience of all breeds and sizes of dogs through my course and my position as an animal attendant at a doggy day care.

Along with looking after your gorgeous pooches, I would also love to be able to help look after any other pets such as rabbits, guinea pigs, and birds. I have extensive experience owning rabbits and guinea pigs and understand their specific and complex needs.

I am actively learning about being able to read dog body language, translate how a dog may be feeling in certain environments, and possible causes for the behavioural signs they are showing. I will therefore use this increasing knowledge to always make sure that your dog is as comfortable and relaxed as they can be.

Enrichment is something that I am enthusiastic about and enjoy incorporating into dogs’ day to day-to-day lives due to its many benefits. So, during your dog's stay, I will make sure to provide plenty of enrichment to meet your dog's individual and instinctual needs of their breed.

Policies
- All dogs must come with either a flat collar or harness with a dog ID tag
- Will not accept any dogs who have shown signs of aggression in the past

We have a medium-sized, secure, and enclosed backyard with plenty of space to run around and play as well as lots of local parks nearby to take your pooches on many walks and sniffy adventures. I work casually around 3 times a week and for the rest of the week, I am at home studying.

I own a small senior Bichon Frise named Oscar. Oscar is a very friendly dog that likes to do his own thing so will happily just coexist with any other dog. I also own a rabbit that has its own enclosed area so the rabbit and dogs will always be separated.
As someone who misses their pets as soon as I leave the house and get anxious about leaving them alone, I know how much I appreciate pictures and videos. So, during your animal's stay, I will make sure to send plenty of updates and adorable pictures and videos.
