About Maggie

Hi! My name is Maggie, I'm a 21 year old Au Pair for a family in Lane Cove. I'm from Colorado, U.S., but have absolutely fallen in love with Sydney while on my gap year here! I have finished my first two years at university studying Nursing back in the states, but have traveled to Australia in search of a little holiday and adventure. I've been dog/house sitting for about 5 years; it was very helpful when I got my driver's license at 16 to be able to transport myself to and from the home. I have cared for up to 4 dogs at a time, as well as trusted to stay at the home full time whilst families are away. I have so enjoyed working as an au pair with my family here, but the one thing they don't have is a pet. In light of missing my own pup back home (and in need of some extra spending money to accomdate Sydney living hehe), I thought it would be perfect to become a sitter for pets as well! My host family has happily agreed that having temporary pets in the house would be nice, and are happy to offer their home. A big part of my responsibilities with my children I look after is transport to and from school, so this means I am home during the day, and allows me to care for your pup. My host family has a lovely home, fenced in backyard, and access to many nearby parks and footpaths for walks! Rest assured your pup would be very well cared for while you're away!...
