About Sarah
Hello, I am a mature, caring person who has always loved animals since childhood. In fact, I always preferred the company of animals over people, growing up. I have had experience with many kinds of animals over my lifetime, such as cats, dogs, horses/ponies (all types), sheep, goats, chickens, fish & guinea pigs. I have previously been involved in obedience dog training (mainly German Shepherd & Labrador Retriever) & now concentrate on Dog Phsychology. I do not have any pets of my own at the moment, as the place where I live doesn’t allow me to have my own pets, which is unusual for me as I cannot remember a time before this where I didn’t have a pet of some kind. Pets are great company & love our attention in return. I understand the difficulty in going away when owning pets with how to make the correct decision for their care, if we cannot take them with us.
I will love & care for your pets, as if they were my own, while you are away. I am available for nearby home visits or to look after your home (available for any other suburb for 2 days or more) while you are away. I currently have a 5-star rating as a professional house cleaner, which I presently do, for less than 10 hours a week. I also have a number of 5 star ratings as a House/Pet sitter on another online service. I can send a link to this one if you would like to read my reviews there.
I would like to pet/house sit to supplement my income rather than continue house cleaning, which is very physically demanding as I am a very fastidious cleaner & hard worker. I only house-clean on Thursday & Friday mornings so I am available at any other time for pet visits. I am always available for pet/house sitting, including every weekend, Easter, Christmas & New Year unless previously booked or away (please check my calendar for updates). I have always been a very caring person where I have worked in disability services, aged care & in hospitals in past years. As I no longer work full time, I am currently pursuing book writing to fulfil a long time passion 🥰📖📚.

Sarah is very communicative, has great control over the dogs, and looks after them wwll. Not only did we come home to our dogs behaving better than when we left, but the house was cleaner too. Will definitely be booking again.

Sarah was absolutely wonderful looking after my 2 dogs. Plenty of pictures and information on how they were going. They warmed to her very quickly and enjoyed her company very much. She left the house very tidy also. I will be using her again next time we go away.
