About Amelia

Hi there! I'm Amelia, a social worker obsessed with all pets, especially my own doggo Bosley. I've recently left my role in senior management and looking forward to getting a bit more work/life balance. I've been a customer of Mad Paws myself so know what I look for in those who look after/walk my chocolate Lab fur baby.

Pre-COVID I spent 2 years house/pet sitting, giving me lots of experience with a variety of animals. I grew up with big dogs (German Shepherds), birds and cats. I also have some experience working with husky dogs, which I did whilst travelling abroad in Austria. I'm looking to find a way to combine my social work background with dogs in the future and currently also going through the process to work with my dog in a therapy capacity.
I'm happy to take dogs on walks, visit the home to check in on any pets who need a little visitor to break up their day or hang out with those who may get lonely for longer periods. I can host at your home or I can welcome any animals that are Lab friendly to my home. Looking forward to meeting you and your loved one :)....
