About Alex

Hi! My name is Alex. I am a 27 year old casual relief teacher (primary school), part time kinder teacher, and full time animal mum of MANY furry friends ☺️ I have always had a strong passion for animals and grew up surrounded by pets my entire life who are always treated like royalty. I have a very warm, loving, fun and calm nature which all animals seem to gravitate to. I believe any pet should be treated just like humans, and receive the same unconditional love and attention they always show to us. My favourite quote that resonates with me and my passion for animals is "dogs might only be a small part of our lives, but to them, we are their whole life". And this goes for any beloved pet.

The pets I have raised over the years include; dogs, cats, budgies, fish, blue tongue lizards, hermit crabs, sheep, alpacas and chickens. Currently I own 2 beautiful Jack Russells with my partner, their names are Cooper (5yrs) and Lily (4yrs). I am also a second mum to 2 burmese cats, 1 cavoodle, 2 alpacas, 2 sheep and 4 chickens who live with my parents on their property in Kyneton, which I love to visit every couple of weeks 🐑🦙🐔👩‍🌾

I have house/pet sat for many of my friends and families pets over the years. I have great knowledge and experience with all animals big and small, and believe I am very knowledgable at understanding animal behaviour, especially dog and cats. I also have a lot of experience in administering oral medication to dogs & cats, and am confident to do so if needed.

I hold a current driver's license and own my own car which is suitable for pets. I have a large boot and dog seat belts so I would be more than happy to take your dog out for play dates and to explore new walks/beaches etc (if comfortable).
