About Ruth

We are a family of four who live on beautiful Macleay Island. We are right by the water so your pet will have stunning scenery to enjoy and beach walks (if required). I have grown up around animals and have always enjoyed their company and being around them. When I was younger we had quite a variety, ranging from horses, dogs, cats, rabbits, guinea pigs and birds.
My two girls are two and four years old so pets would need to be used to being around children. They are very gentle girls who love spending time outdoors.
My husband and I both work from home (I am a nurse and he works in IT) so rest assured your family pet will have all the attention they could possibly need. We are a very active family so daily walks and playing in our fully enclosed garden will be on the daily agenda. If you have an older pet we have lots of room for them to relax and have lots of snoozes should they require them. We also have veterinary services on the island.
There are frequent ferries to the island so am happy to come and meet at the terminal prior to any arrangements and you are most welcome to come visit us and see the sights of the Southern Moreton Bay Islands.
It goes without being said that we would provide daily updates and photos of your pet as I know how hard it can be to leave them when you are away. Please reach out with any questions you might have.
