About Torrie

Hi, I'm Torrie: an avid animal lover, a wildlife technician who works up at a wildlife rehabilitation hospital and a lifetime pet parent of all types and sizes of animals from farm animals and wolfdogs at my childhood home to St Bernards and Mastiffs, cats, hedgehogs, birds, rodents, reptiles, giant land snails and finally my two pugs who passed away from old age at 16yrs. I'm not quite ready yet to own another animal of my own, but I miss my boys desperately and would love to put that care and attention towards yours. I'm fit, friendly and responsible and have decades of training and qualifications in medicine, handling, behaviour and training. Every animal I care for, I treat as if they were my own. I have a perfectly pet proof home with a fully fenced back yard as well as a national park and many other small parks surrounding me to go for long or short walks. I live on a quiet bend only a couple minutes drive from a great dog park and a few more minutes drive to the local dog beach. There's no creature great or small that I can't handle with respect, dignity and love....
