Hello and welcome to my profile,
my name is Gina, I am 29 years old and I am from Germany.
Before I started my world trip 2 years ago, I worked in Germany in the outpatient and inpatient child and youth welfare as a social worker.

I am currently in Melbourne for a couple month but will travel up the eastcoast until the end of this year.

Since I am very new here on the website, I can unfortunately not yet show any positive feedbacks but EXPERIENCE WITH ANIMALS, I have a lot. I myself have cats at home in Germany, which my brother currently lovingly takes care of. My family has always had dogs since I was little and for years I took in dogs from the animal welfare in Romania at my home as a foster home, cared for and trained before they were placed.

I am also very reliable, neat and responsible.

In South Africa I worked at a wildlife farm, in Sri Lanka I helped in an animal shelter for three weeks, in Laos I took care of the animals in a hotel for three and a half weeks. During my time in the Philippines, I dedicated two whole months to volunteering at an animal shelter called Malapascua paw heroes. While other travellers were lounging on the beach or busy partying, I chose to do my trip without all luxuries and indstead focus on rescuing reported emergencies, gathering donations for vaccinations, freeing puppies from fleas and ticks, and providing plenty of cuddle time for the whole gang of 56 animals. During this period, I had the incredible opportunity to learn a lot about the distinct characteristics of various breeds and that every individual has their unique needs.

Since September 7th I am in my absolute bucketlist country number 1: Australia. I am looking forward to seeing as much as I can of this beautiful and diverse country.

Since I myself know how important positive feedbacks are, because it is just about a lot of trust to let someone live in his four walls and to give the beloved four-legged friends in the care of a stranger, I attach here a few of my feedbacks from my workaways in the pictures :).
