They call me the Dachshund Whisperer...lol...with two dachshunds of my own, I'm particularly passionate about this breed and look after many in our community**
We have a large, secure yard that can be accessed by a doggy door, with ramps to help them with stairs. I look after many friends' dachshunds and smaller dogs either during the day or for holidays etc. One of my boys is fully recovered from IVDD and I am very educated in what to look out for regarding dachshund health.
Our dogs are friendly to other dogs but we find it's best to meet up in the lovely dog park across from our home first and then make our way over to the house so they begin to think of themselves as a pack.
My husband and I mostly work at home and have a large park across the road for walkies. We never take visiting dogs off lead and will look after them like they are our own.
**Sorry, we don't accept bookings for dogs that are not de-sexed, very young puppies, or for pugs, Bostons or French Bulldogs as, sadly, one of our boys is very reactive to them....
