I recently moved to Melbourne from Germany with my partner to start a new life here down under. I'm currently studying a online Master of Architecture which means I am super flexible with my hours.
The reason why I want to be your next dog sitter is that I have always loved dogs and have enjoyed spending time with them in my childhood and early adulthood. Our family dog is called Queenie (Havanese) and it was my responsibility to take care of her as my mother was working full time. My responsibilities included taking care of her daily walks and food as well as sleeping in a room with her. One time she got really sick when my mother was gone and I was able to handle the situation well.
I miss Queenie terribly and would love to help you with caring for your dog.
I have experiences with other dogs outside of Queenie. A family friends dog "Ella" (Staffy) was from the pound and had a difficult past. She was a dog I spent a lot of time with. Ella was so different to Queenie as she was a lot stronger and more aggressive but after training, we grew a strong bond and now she listens to all of my commands.
I also have general knowledge of caring for other animals like cats and rabbits. We used to have them in my childhood home.
My why is simple; I love dogs and miss my own a lot. I currently have the flexibility to do this next to my studies and could even look after your pet for a longer period of time while you'r on vacations.
Can't wait to meet your pet and be their new friend!...
