About Nadine

Hello all!

We’re a family of 5, 2 kids (5 & 7) and our dog Alfie, a standard poodle, 4 years old.

We live in a house in mitcham with access to the park from our fenced backyard.

Both my husband and I grew up with and around dogs and the kids are great with them as well. Our friend is a dog sitter and brings her current dogs with her when she comes over which gave us the idea to do some dog sitting ourselves😊 we have since watched numerous dogs, puppies to seniors, pugs to caboodles and are enjoying every minute.

Alfie likes other dogs but prefers small ones so we unfortunately aren’t able to sit larger dogs.

I work from home most of the week, usually doing two days in the office.

We’re an active family that loves being outside and we take Alfie and whichever friends might be visiting wherever we go, there’s a large dog bed in the back of our car and also space between the kids which comes with cuddles. We also have a pool if there’s any avid swimmers out there! We usually go for a few smaller walks and to an Oval or dog park for a proper run every few days.

Visiting dogs sleep in the house, basically where they want and have access to the backyard plus a few short walks throughout the day. If there’s a family outings they’d of course join us too, on weekends we try to do activities in nature that allow for dogs to come and get a good run in. I will send lot's of updates with photos while they stay with us:)

I am not a trained groomer but have been grooming our Standard Poodle since he joined the family and am happy to add on a wash, brush and tidy up session for visiting dogs (if they let me).
