About Emily

I absolutely love animals! I very much enjoy interacting with and taking care of them. Having grown up around animals my whole life I am actively seeking to find new ways to improve the lives of animals I come into contact with. I have previously volunteered with the RSPCA as a behaviour support volunteer with dogs for about three years. This role allowed me to meet and get to know a range of different dogs and personalities throughout the shelter, especially those who are in need of behaviour training as well as stress relief and enrichment. I did a lot of training with dogs and have developed an acute ability to read their behaviour and respond appropriately. Since starting my full-time work I have had to stop volunteering but still love to spend time with animals and am always looking for opportunities to do so. I have experience as a foster carer as well as administering medication and caring for animals recovering from injuries. Additionally, I have experience house sitting as well as transporting animals.
