Hi,

I think I can say that by now I am a "professional housesitter"! I have been housesitting off and on for some years in Australia, (mainly Perth, Canberra, NSW's South Coast and Sydney), but also the UK and Spain! It really properly started when I needed to complete a Master's degree at ANU in 2015 as a mature age student, with housesitting helping me achieve that goal in the shortest possible time. I have continued since then to allow me to work on a casual basis, now online from home, and to try to finish writing a book, but also because I so enjoy the company of pets - to me I am like a Grandmother enjoying her grandchildren, without the long term commitment associated with pet care!

With bundles of glowing, five-star references and even a housesitting award, I have enjoyed discovering so many new places, interesting walking spaces and just cuddling up with affectionate fur companions to spend time with at home.

I've mainly been looking after dogs and cats, but I've also looked after more unusual pets such as a giant pig, sheep, rabbit, horses, chooks, lizards, exotic birds, and more. I am also very happy to provide updates of pets' wellbeing with photos and accounts of how we are getting on.

There is nothing like the benefit of years of experience to give pet owners peace of mind that their pets are calmly being cared for in any and every kind of situation until their return to a happy pet and a lovely clean home....
