About Jamie
Im a youngish mum of 2 human kids and multiple guinea pigs/budgies! I grew up alongside a combination of chihuahas, japanese spitzes, staffies, and 'bitzers'. My favourite childhood pet was named Cassie, a tortoiseshell cat who lived to be 18!
Being in a therapeutic field of work, I am highly aware of the connection that animals can have with human beings that extends past the 'pet/owner' dynamic. Even the smallest animals can feel emotions; even to grieve the loss of a loved one and be affected by life circumstances.
My animals are both inside and outside, having tiles throughout most of my home makes this easy to manage! My backyard is fully fenced and shaped like a 'U' around my home. I live 5 minutes walk from a local park and 10 minutes walk from a river/beach. I also live a short walk away from a fenced dog park.
