In pursuing my passion I have found that creativity and knowledge are endless. I love knowing that even if I don't have access in the moment there are so many new ways to work with dogs that are yet to be discovered being so new in my career. Over the last year I have worked with a large variety of dogs and handlers. From water averse to comp level. I have found a lot of joy and success as well as learning a lot. As dedicated and passionate as I am I still believe in holding myself to a high standard of education and experience.

I am currently studying doing a canine hydrotherapy certification course- expected to graduate in November 2024 with plans of investing further in the dog training aspect of my education in 2025. I have also done a number of courses related directly to dock diving along with engaging in every free resource on the topic I possibly can.

Right now my time in which I help people is my way of getting hands-on experience in the sport and teaching. When going ahead and working with me you are agreeing that you understand that I am not a fully qualified professional rather more of a mentor role in which we both gain and learn something from. I pride myself in this candidness in making sure I do voice when I believe something that has come up is out of my skill set and always aim to research further for the individual teams I work with to be able to provide the most educated and safe advice I possibly can.

Logistics:

With rising costs due to inflation I have decided to charge a small fee for my time that I feel not only reflects my ability and dedication but incorporates the 20% fee that mad paws takes for insurance etc. Please be aware that this is only a temporary set up until I feel I have the relevant experience to fully start my own business and charge accordingly.

Dock diving lessons (in person)

Initial meeting 45 minutes- $50
Follow ups 45 minutes - $30

Sessions are one on one and only one dog present at a time. This is non negotiable.
Please message me explaining why you are wanting assistance in dock diving with your dog to be able to book. As long as your dog is fit to work both mentally and physically there are no limitations on who I will help unless otherwise discussed.
