About Louise

Growing up with dogs and cats all of my life has instilled a love and respect of animals from a young age.

As adult I am an experienced dog owner of small dogs. I have a friendly chihuahua. More recently I have entered the bird world! I have a beautiful cockatiel named Pepe who is an absolute treasure. We also have a yellow collared macaw named Lola who is the boss of the household. My chihuahua is not phased about sharing his house with a bird, although during "cage free time" we do ensure the dog is safely tucked away in his bedroom.

Animals are smarter than they are given credit for and i believe that love, exercise, diet and mental stimulation are the key for ensuring pets are happy and social beings. I aim to meet all the needs of my pets and would care for others with the same dedication that I give my own.

We are currently only offering hosting for birds. You are welcome to supply you own cage or use our spare cage (59cm by 59cm) that we have available which is thoroughly and suitably cleaned after each use (photo attached). Only your bird would be in the cage and in a separate room from our bird, although they would still be able to see each other. We are aware of birds needs and are a low tox household because of this. We would like to adhere to the current schedule of your bird as much as possible to ensure they have a predictable and enjoyable stay. If the use of our cage is required we do request that you bring a couple of your birds favourite toys- to make him feel more at home.

We do offer pick up and drop off, door to door.
