If you’re looking for a mature, friendly, capable, experienced and trustworthy pet and house sitter, I can help you with the care of your much-loved pet and home. As a long-term cat, dog and home owner, as well as an experienced pet and house sitter, you can rest assured that your fur babies and property are in safe hands while you’re away. In fact, I’ve used pet and house sitters to care for my pets and home in the past, so I understand the experience from both sides of the process.

I'm a life-long animal lover, so I've had either a cat or a dog as a pet for most of my life, and love interacting with animals. Therefore, I have a great deal of first-hand experience with both dog and cat care ranging from everyday walks and play, to handling minor health issues and injuries as well as everything that goes into keeping your pets happy and healthy.

In terms of caring for your pets and home I will always keep you up to date with how all is progressing while you're away and aim to solve small issues by myself. Plus I've renovated and maintained my own homes, so am comfortable with addressing day to day items, but will always consult you with anything out of the ordinary.

My #1 goal is to make your time away as stress free as possible, so you can relax and enjoy yourself with the peace of mind that comes from knowing all is taken care of with your much loved pets and home. I prefer to pet sit small to medium sized dogs, but will consider a well socialised larger dog, and love to look after cats.

Recently, I've moved into regular pet and house sitting as my 21 year old son has flown the nest and my much loved pet of 17 years, a character-filled terrier, passed away. So, I'm now am 'empty-nester' and have greater flexibility to care for your pets and property. I also work from home, meaning I can work from almost anywhere with a good internet connection :-)

I've chosen to pet + house sit for the opportunity to spend some time with your pets, and will treat them as my own, as well as to explore and experience more of Perth and the south west of WA. My career background is in the fields of writing, book creation and publication, and I've had my own business in these arenas for over 30 years. I also have a degree in English, love meeting new people, travel and learning new ideas.
