About Billie

With a background in zoom keeping, a HUGE passion for animals and pets of my own, I know how to make an animal smile. With years of experience, your pet will be happy and safe whilst in my care.

My name is Billie and I’m a communications student at QUT.

Whether it’s a dog, cat or a horse, I love being with animals. I grew up in a rural area with dogs in my family, and bought a German Shepherd of my own in 2021. I also own a cockatiel named Olly who loves to study with me. Thanks to being a volunteer keeper for four years, I have cared for a number of birds and small reptiles. With a love of horses I’ve spent hours at the stables and on horseback. Before moving to Brisbane, I also owned a horse for eight years

In regards to professional training, I have completed a Certificate III in Captive Animals. During this TAFE certification I gained practical and theoretical knowledge on animal care. I have also completed online training for pet sitting.

As I am a part-time student, my study schedule is flexible allowing me to spend hours with your pet. Despite needing to attend on campus lectures twice a week, I can change my schedule to suit the needs of your fur-baby.
