About Caro
Experienced with dogs, cats, birds (incl cage-free).
Recently retired - so unless I’m off riding my bikes or indoor-climbing, I’m generally at home in the garden or cooking up a storm. My partner is a shift worker and also spends a lot of time at home. We've both always had animals in our lives and homes and look forward to caring for yours.
I miss my kelpie, Bossy Dog, who was my steadfast running partner and bestie for 17 yrs, but with future nomadic plans we cannot provide a forever home. Both Bossy and my cage-free budgie used to hang out in class with my students whilst I taught - that’s how I think it should be. Pets should be with their people as much as possible.
Since I can't have my own at this time of my life, I can now provide emotional support and care for YOUR pets when they’re missing you.

Caro was absolutely lovely, took fantastic care of Milo and provided regular, unprompted updates. Milo had a great time with her and for a dog with separation anxiety had no issues settling in at her place. We will absolutely be asking her first next time we go away, could not recommend her any higher.
