About Cara and Andrew

Irish couple with a love for dogs and cats. Our names are Andrew and Cara. One of us is working casually as a school teacher and one is a sports coach. There is always one of us at home as we work different hours! We are extremely active and are right beside a dog park and the beach! As we are on a WHV, we are both missing our pets at home so much!  We are willing to provide dog boarding, dog walking, doggy day care and home visits.

We live near Bondi Beach and live right beside a park that allows dogs to run around. We would be very happy to pet sit your pet in our own home. We are eager to play with, look after and take on frequent walks. We currently have no pets of our own.  We both grew up living with dogs which included puppy training and dealing with pets with behavioural issues.

As a pet owner, I am familiar with living with pets with behavioural issues and the need for dog training. My last dog experienced a lot of behavioural issues such as separation anxiety and pulling on the lead while walking. These are examples of issues that had to be worked on by myself using dog training techniques such as positive reinforcement which I found worked very well. I have completed puppy training with my dog and have also used positive reinforcement with same to help. In doing so I was able to communicate sit, stay, down, roll over etc with my dog.
