About Monika

I love animals and grew up surrounded by them. While I don't currently have a pet due to my love for traveling and the challenges of finding a reliable sitter, I've been caring for pets for over 6 years now, mostly for friends and family. My dear friend's dog, Chewie, a sweet Maltese/Shih Tzu/Chihuahua mix, used to be one of my regulars until they moved to Singapore. I miss Chewie and would love to fill that void by helping others care for their beloved furry family members. Recently, I've been looking after a cat Alfie for 6 weeks. Although I've never had a cat before, we quickly formed a loving and trusting bond. Since then, I've looked after 2 dogs and 1 cat via Madpaws. The experiences were incredible. I genuinely enjoy getting to know new furry friends. I've formed loving bonds with them and discovered very strong connection I have not only with dogs but also with cats.

I reside in my 2-bedroom apartment in North Sydney, right across from St Leonards Park, which is dog-friendly. While I work full-time, I have the flexibility to work from home about 2 to 3 days a week. My office is also conveniently located in North Sydney, allowing me to bring dogs to work with me. Chewie used to enjoy zooming around the office and bonding with my colleagues.

I enjoy giving basic dog training as it fosters a strong bond. I enjoy long walks, beach outings, dog parks or simply relaxing on the couch while showering pets with love and attention.

I would be delighted to care for well-behaved small to mid-sized dogs and cats. ...
