About Vanessa and Wanlop

Hi there, my name is Vanessa and I’ve had pets for my whole life (dogs, cats and even a horse and an iguana!). My husband and two boys are also dog lovers - sadly our own dog passed away not so long ago ("Pukkie" was a Thai rescue from Bangkok). We really miss her and have loved helping out friends by looking after their pets instead.

We would love to help your family by giving your pet a safe and fun holiday at our place. You will be able to relax knowing they are beautifully cared for. We have looked after several breeds for friends - a teeny tiny Yorkshire Terrier, a long and lazy greyhound that loved zoomies in our yard, and a headstrong retriever! We really can't decide what type of breed is best - we love them all.

If you need references, just let me know and I would be happy to share those. We will always keep you up to date with regular pics / videos, and you can count on us whether you need us for doggie daycare, one night only, or 2 months!

We are happy to mind dogs or cats and would only mind one at a time unless you had more than one yourself. We will allow your pet to sleep inside if that's what they prefer, and our priority is to ensure they feel happy, safe, reassured and loved. I am comfortable administering medicines if necessary.

I work from home full time, and we have a large fully fenced, neat and tidy yard, and live near wonderful parks and Lake Illawarra for walks. Our boys are very well behaved and calm children who love a cuddle, or a play / chase / hide 'n seek game.

We look forward to welcoming you to meet up first just to make sure everyone is comfortable. Your pet can see our home and get familiar with us and have a little exploration in the house and yard before coming over to stay. ...
