About Michelle
I love animals! I've had pets most of my life - grew up with birds, chooks, ducks, cats and dogs and earned my pocket money taking care of them! I was the kid always volunteering to bring home the class pet for the holidays - budgies, turtles, lizards! My mum always loved birds and was always teaching me the names of our native birds.
I've had pet cats and dogs at various times throughout my adult years and I'm often rescuing and saving injured wildlife and birds if I come across them.
Right now I'm not in a position to have my own pets so I get my fix through enjoying wildlife visiting my garden (especially blue wrens - OMG I love them!), and taking care of pet birds! My 11 year daughter is obsessed with birds and has a gorgeous pet Indian Ringneck who lives at her dad's house (who we just adore).
I work from home 4 out of 5 days a week so I can keep a close eye on your feathered family member and plenty of company and attention. I live in a townhouse with plenty of natural light and ventilation and window outlooks onto a secure, fenced courtyard garden and covered patio so I can provide safe and comfortable inside and outside time for your feathered friend in their cage.
