About Jocelyn
Hi,
My name is Jocelyn, and I am studying Cert II in Animal Care at TAFE SA.
I have had animals all my life, with cats and dogs and budgies. Recently I lost my 14.5-year-old cat to stomach cancer. So, my house is a little too quiet. It's time to have some fur babies around while I get on with my course.
I am home most of the time while I study so your fur baby will be well loved and taken care of as if it were my own. With lots of cuddles and playtime.
If you require house sitting, I am available for that as well and can help out with some housework too. I am a keen gardener so happy to take care of your plants as well.
For the last 12 months I have been looking after family and friends' dogs and cats and most recently I have been walking and paw sitting a two-year-old border collie. She keeps me very fit with 1.5-hour walks. It is just great to get outdoors with animals to watch them play and just be themselves.
I believe animals bring the most joy, wonder and fulfillment to everyone's lives. Life would be so different without the unconditional love of animals.
My yard is enclosed but not quite big enough for large boisterous dogs. Smaller ones would be fine.
I am available to walk dogs of any size around your area, at the beach or the local dog park. There is a dog park walking distance from my home, and I am able to drive to several others in the Para Hills and surrounding areas.
Also, I am starting out with training dogs so if you have a little troublesome pooch maybe I can help.
Cats will be well taken care of as my house is equipped for cats to lounge, play, and just be cats- indoors. Or I can come to their place to keep them happy.

Muffin had a lovely stay with Jocelyn. Muffin was tentative to begin with but settled in after her first night and was given lots of attention and cuddles, even deciding to be Jocelyn’s foot warmer 😂 Jocelyn was the perfect companion for muffin, relaxed and attentive and very formative on animal matters and care. Muffin has been welcomed back and we will definitely be returning 🐶

Jocelyn has looked after our border collie Olivia, Scottish terrier Hamish and cats Felix and Misty on numerous occasions. Hamish, Felix and Misty are often shy with new people, but Jocelyn has a way with animals, and she was able to handle them straight away. Olivia loves playing fetch (constantly), and needs a lot of exercise, whereby Hamish is more of a couch potato, and can be quite stubborn if he doesn't want to do something. Jocelyn's dog training has enabled her to get Hamish onside and he's started playing fetch as well. Both dogs adore her and get very excited when they see her. Felix and Misty love the attention they get from Jocelyn, and I was surprised that she was able to brush them from the first visit. I would definitely recommend her as a dog walker, pet sitter and house sitter. She also has a green thumb and will ensure your plants are looked after if you go away.
