Hello lovely pet-owners!
Thank you for checking out my profile!
I'm originally from England, but have been teaching French and Spanish in international schools around the world (Japan, Saudi, India, UAE, Canada) for the last decade or so, prior to which I had also lived in France and Spain.
I arrived in Australia last November just for a holiday initially but I loved it so much I decided to stay a while a longer. I got my student visa and am now studying a Diploma in Leadership and Management whilst working as an ELICOS teacher in Melbourne. I have been looking after various pets (cats and dogs) since April via another website. I am thoroughly enjoying this, and have 5-star ratings from all the pet owners I have worked with.
I love animals and would love to have a pet but it's tricky with my nomadic lifestyle! In the meantime, looking after other people's beloved pets is a good solution. When I was a child, we had a beautiful, lilac-point siamese cat called Bonnie and she was very much loved. I also adopted an abandoned tabby kitten whilst living in rural Japan and flew him back to England with me in 2004.
As a teacher, I like caring for others, both human and non-human animals - their safety, comfort and happiness is really important to me.
I lead an active lifestyle and cycle, swim and do yoga on a regular basis, and I also live vegan. I like volunteering during the holidays, particularly WWOOFing. I speak French, Spanish and Japanese (and English, of course!).
I hope to hear from you soon! xxx...
