About Ian

I'm an active retiree who needs some fit and energetic pets to take me for a walk or for a play at the dog park.

I live in a quiet area in Parkwood, on the Gold Coast, and have a secure yard with cover from the elements and plenty of space to run around. There are numerous dog parks within walking distance or a short drive from my home.

I love taking dogs for walks around the neighbourhood as it's a great way for both the dog and me to meet fellow walkers and their pets. It also makes me happy to see my pet (or loan pet) having fun with new friends in the dog park.

Dog walking is therapeutic for both walker and pet which is why I am happy to walk multiple times each day, depending on the pet's fitness and desires. I particularly focus on the pet's needs during my walks. If they want to stop at every tree and post to have a sniff, then that's ok with me. Sniff away.
