I'm Carole, a 30 year old Swiss lawyer who moved to Australia a year ago. I grew up on a farm in Switzerland, surrounded by 4 horses, 2 dogs (a Swiss shepherd and a puddle), 3 cats and other animals! One of them happens to be my brother... same smell!
I'm used to looking after animals (small and big!) and I'm a very responsible person who can be relied on as my primary objective is really the animal's well-being.
Since I've been here, I didn't want to take in a pet for fear of making them travel back and forth between Europe and Australia. But I miss the presence and contact with animals, so I'm hoping to find an win-win: help families in need while getting to spend some time in the company of an animal.
