Please message/email me for new bookings--I have many great clients and would like to prioritise their travel in this time of reopening.
If you're a previous client reading this, I hope your family is safe and well.
About me:
I started doing this in 2019 to explore the city and loved doing it ever since! I am self taught on a lot of skills like training, materials and signs of illness... Thanks to all the previous families whom I had the honour for sitting for. If you're reading this, thank you for making my life magical.

In 2022, I know this is a service to the people in Melbourne. It's been a hard couple of years, and many I know got locked out of puppy school, travelling and visiting our loved ones. Right now, I would love to spend my time putting your family's mind at ease.
About me:
I worked for Guide Dogs for 2 years as an admin - there I learnt the value of positive reinforcement training and how to distract the in-house Labrador from eating...everything.
I used to take up every opportunity to sit for family, friends and neighbours. My longest experience was whenever I babysat for a neighbour of mine for 3 years - they had 2 border collies, 2 ragdoll cats and 1 tortoiseshell cat. I loved spending time with them.
Nowadays, I am studying Auslan and Science part time, and spend a majority of my time reading or drinking coffee. I now have my own pets, but also moved to Melbourne when everyone needed to be at home. I know very little about the city as it was, but I've always been a curious cat and learn really quickly.
Breeds:
I have longer experience with the following breeds:
- Domestic Cats,
- Long hair cat breeds such as ragdoll,
- Labradors and Golden Retrievers,
- Cattle Dogs such as Border Collies and Australian Shepherds,
- Shar-Pei,
- Toy Poodle,
Skills:
- Cleaning everything: (can discuss wood protection at length, I am a proud homebody)
- Open communication via phone: I take copious photos and report immediately if something unusual happens (in my humble experience with a range of pets).
- Own transport: can transport anywhere and willing. Love a beach walk.
- Dog training and calm: I'm vigilant about what's in their mouth at all times,
- Transdermal medications,
- Injections (recent)
I'm often told I have an old soul and very responsible - by friends and employers - and I hope I can help.
Note: I am married. He's a full-time researcher, so usually comes only once to eat brunch in a new place :)
We have our own cats at home, therefore dad is bound to them (and his workstation).
Also when he's around, he’s always the favourite pet snuggle spot; He’s basically an electric blanket shaped like an academic.
